Frequently asked questions
How do I set up the Oeuf River Bed to save space in a small kids’ room?
The River Bed is designed with a simple, stable frame and a bench at the foot that serves as a reading nook or storage spot. Consider placing it along a wall with the bench at the end to create a cozy, multifunctional zone.
Who would benefit most from the River Bed and who might not be ideal for it?
It suits a child’s room or nursery that needs a compact, durable bed with optional storage via the bench and an optional trundle for extra sleeping space. If you need a heavier, more vertical design or a different style, this may be less suitable.
What features make the Oeuf River Bed stand out compared with other kids’ beds?
It uses solid birch and eco-MDF with non-toxic, water-based finishes, is GREENGUARD Gold certified, and offers a space-saving bench and optional trundle and security rail, all produced in an FSC-certified European facility.
What should I know about care and daily maintenance for this bed?
Clean with a damp cloth as needed; finishes are non-toxic and water-based. Because it uses solid wood components and eco materials, regular dusting helps maintain its look and longevity.
Which sizes and finish options are available for this bed?
The bed comes in Twin and Full sizes and finishes include White/Birch and White Walnut, with the option to add a trundle or security rail sold separately.
Is the River Bed designed for long-term use as a child grows?
Yes, its durable, eco-friendly construction is designed for long-lasting use, and the optional components (trundle, rail) can adapt as needs change over time.
